The BJB Ranch is the Colorado home of Mountain Aspen Morgans and Legacy Friesians. Conceived in 2001, the BJB Ranch is both a boyhood and girlhood dream, where we have combined our love of horses and our love of the Colorado Rockies Front Range. Bruce put his engineering skills and hands to hard work building our 4 story, 10,000+ sq foot timber framed barn. We are at 10,000 feet elevation, where our horses thrive and where we can view mountain ranges as far away as New Mexico from our home. Cool mountain breezes, high mountain meadows, clean air and the purest water are our horses’ environment. Our training programs include driving on mountain roads in order to build strength, as our US Olympic athletes are strengthened at the Colorado US Olympic Training Center. Our property is 7 miles south of Pikes Peak, backing up to 200+ miles of high mountain trails in Pike National Forest. Many a summer day will find our horses carrying us on these trails.
Our goals are focused on breeding high quality performance horses. Personally, we show primarily in the harness divisions, as well as riding and driving our horses in local parades. You are invited to visit our ranch, whether to purchase a horse or to enjoy our mountain trails.
